Sidetracked
a Cobra story...
Cobra Commander is still in search of the Dreadnoks and the stolen APC along the beach.
The caravan has been traveling for days, but has found nothing. If he could only get in touch with Storm Shadow...

Thinking they are a safe distance away, two desert troopers watch
the Cobra caravan from atop a nearby hill. They attempt to call for help on the radio, but there's no answer.

|
"I'm telling you they're gonna see us - GET YOUR HEAD DOWN YOU IDIOT!"
|
|
Meanwhile, the VENOM squad leader
nonchalantly walks over to the nearest Viper and gets his attention...
|
 |
 |
|
"Hey, someone just spotted two joes on the ledge back there, but DON'T TURN AROUND!
Just act cool and keep walking! Cobra Commander said he'd take care of it."

|
Arriving undetected and using the underside of the cliff to hide, Cobra Commander
turns on the auto-targeting option on his new laser-pistol.

Using his world-renowned rock-climbing
skills and some nifty footwork, he quietly ascends the boulder and sticks his arm up as high
as possible. |

|
"Be quiet, I think I heard something... HOLY $%@! - WHAT'S THAT!?!?"
|
|
The auto-targeting device works perfectly...
|
 |
|
"WHAT THE $#^&!!?!?!? UGGHHHH!!!!"
|
|
- so he shoots again...
|
 |
|
"ARGGHHH!!!"
|
|
Knowing that they might still be alive, Cobra Commander
goes after the fallen joes to make sure he finishes the job. He corners them on the backside
of the huge boulder. |

|
"PLEASE DON'T SHOOT ME!!! I HAVE A FAMILY FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!"

"ARGGHHHH" |
| "UUUGHHHH"
|

Having finished the job, Cobra Commander quickly makes it back to the caravan and starts screaming
at everyone...
"NOW LET'S GET THIS F#%&ING SHOW BACK ON THE ROAD! I want those g%#@amn Dreadnoks!!!
And someone find my walkie-talkie so I can call Destro"

"The auto-targeting device that you installed works well.
I'll be back to headquarters in a few hours,
SO HAVE MY MOTHERF%$&ING WEAPONS READY THIS TIME YOU DIP$&^T!"

And so the caravan kept traveling west into the sunset,
and thus ended another afternoon of life on the Cobra Highway...

Storm Shadow IS out there....
And Cobra Commander WILL find him...
And the Dreadnoks will pay...
